UPDATE:

WE WOULD LIKE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THE CHILDREN AT ECOLE DU VILLAGE ARE FINE.

THE ISLAND SURVIVED WITH VERY LITTLE DAMAGE.  PEOPLE ON THE ISLAND FEEL THE EFFECTS OF THE EATHQUACKE AS THEY BUY MOST OF THEIR GOODS FROM THE MAIN LAND AND AS MORE PEOPLE ARE MOVING BACK FROM THE MAIN CITY OF PORT-AU-PRINCE.

AS A LESSON LEARNED, WE ARE ARE TRYING TO BUILD STRONGER CLASSROOMS AND MOVE THE CHILDREN TO HIGHER GROUND TO PREVENT THE KIND OF DISASTER THAT OCCURED IN PORT-AU-PRINCE.
