How Can You Help?
We welcome the gift of books of all kinds (except text books), in French and in Creole--classics, novels, mysteries, children's books, how-to-books in all subjects, especially on agriculture and care of the soil.

Donations to transport the books and to help us build our new library are also most welcome.

Any donation, regardless of the amount, is of help

Community Library
La Petite Bibliothèque Communautaire

Founded in 2001 and housed in two small rooms, our small library now holds some 2000 works in French and Creole. Its staff includes a librarian and two assistants.

The library is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays and offers a children's story hour program on Tuesday afternoons. It is very popular among young children, older students and young adults. Membership is up to more than 400.

Future of the Library
We have already chosen the site for a new library complete with a reading room, reference collection, and the ability to show films and videos
